Christmas Punch

Ingredients:      1/3 cup sugar (optional)

                         1 quart cranberry juice or pome

                              granate cranberry juice

                         2 cups unsweetened pineapple

                              juice

                         3 tbsp almond extract (adds a

                              unique welcoming flavor)

1 (2 L) bottle gingerale, chilled

Mix first 4  ingredients in a large container.  Refrigerate for 1 day.  To serve, pour juice mixture into a punch bowl.  Stir in gingerale.  Add cranberries, lime slices and ice.  Serve within a few hours for best results.
