A bit about Pastor Susan

Susan claims her roots to be in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and has called Indiana her home for the past decade.  She may be growing older, however, debates as to whether or not she is “grown up”.  A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, she has also studied at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, KY and United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH.

Susan’s claim to fame is raising two fantastic daughters who are exceptional human beings.  She loves spending time with them when they allow it, and even when they don’t! Being a mother has brought great joy to her life.  It is also her joy and privilege to serve Christ.  She has served Him in a variety of ways over the past 25 years, from children & youth ministry to adult discipleship & spiritual development as well as pastoral ministry.  Currently, Susan is serving God and loving His people as the Director of Family Ministry at Good Shepherd UMC.

When she isn’t at church or with her children, you might find Susan walking in the woods, reading a book, or shopping at Goodwill.
