Worship Attendance Guidelines
(Select here to download in pdf)

Happy July greetings from Pastor Mark. It is with great joy that we are tentatively beginning in person (in the church sanctuary) worship on July 5. For those who are not yet comfortable in venturing out, please continue to join us on fb Live each Sunday at 9 a.m. for our livestreaming worship service.

We will be celebrating Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month and for you who are joining us on fb Live it will continue to be virtual communion. Instructions for in person communion will be given to you upon entering the church building.

We will not be meeting in the church for any other reasons besides worship for the time being. As soon as the Coronavirus Response Team has determined that it is okay to meet in the church, we will let you know.

A video explaining what in person worship attendance will look like will be shown during our livestream on fb Live on June 28 as well as posted on our fb page and our website following worship on June 28.

Worship Attendance Guidelines

The following will be the guidelines for persons attending in-person worship:

  • You must make a pre-service reservation by calling or texting Penny Bond 317-502-5069 or Tina Mercer 317-374-8588 beginning June 29.  The 9:00 a.m. service will be filled first and if needed an 11 a.m. service will be added.
  • Please arrive early.  Doors will be opened 20 minutes before service and locked when service begins.
  • Touchless temperature scans and hand sanitizing will be done at the door.  Temperature must be less than 100.4 and you must also be symptom free before entering.  If you are experiencing symptoms of illness (fever, cough, sore throat, etc.), we ask that you join us via Facebook from your home.
  • For your protection and others, face masks must be worn by anyone age 3 and above.  Please bring your own if you have one, if not, one will be available.
  • Observe social distancing staying 6-feet apart with no hand shaking, hugging or kissing.
  • Please place your offering in one of the offering plates upon entering the sanctuary or you may continue to use online giving or mail your contribution.
  • Ushers will seat you in a designated pew.
  • Singing and praying in unison will not be done until safe.
  • The nursery and cry room will not be available.
  • We will not have Jr. Church until further notice.
  • Bibles and hymnals will be removed from the pews.  Feel free to bring your own.
  • The pastor will dismiss you from the sanctuary at the end of Worship.  We ask that you go directly to the parking lot and not congregate.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. (Eph. 4:2-3).

Let me encourage all of us to sweetly comply with all of the necessary guidelines, to refrain from a complaining spirit, to be kind and gracious to one another, and to be exceedingly glad that we have the privilege of gathering in-person to worship together again!
