UMC Craft Show and Food Truck Extravaganza!!

Good Shepherd is sponsoring a craft show and food truck event on Saturday, September 17th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.   People who attend our church, or groups within our church, may reserve a booth space free of charge by completing the application attached.  Booth spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, as long as the booth meets the terms and conditions of our fair guidelines (also attached).  We encourage you to spread the word in the community to your family and friends that booth spaces are available to those outside our church for a mere $25 (which includes a table and 2 chairs, if needed).  This is a low fee compared to other fairs, but we are establishing ourselves as a fair destination this year!  We are looking forward to hosting a fun, family friendly event for our community and sharing the love of Christ both to our vendors and visitors!  Pass the word and put this date on your calendar!  We will have lots of opportunities for you to volunteer and a place for everyone!

Edwards DashDiner Food TruckThe Dashboard Diner is Indiana's newest gourmet food truck, the mobile half of Dashboard Edwards Drive-In. Dashboard Edwards Drive-In is home of the legendary handmade pork tenderloin, hand-dipped onion rings, fries, coney dogs and homemade root beer.  Expect all your favorites and bring your appetite!

Try thinking about this….hanging out with friends while nibbling on your favorite chocolate!  Sign up yourself and a friend or loved one for the Café Chocolat Women’s Retreat on Saturday, October 8, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.  It promises to be a morning and afternoon of laughing, talking, and laughing while we focus on God’s extravagant grace with a bit of chocolate sprinkled on top!   Registration information is in this newsletter and in the church lobby and on our church website.  Please return completed registration to the church office.  Don’t delay!!  See you in October!!  For more information, contact Debbie Specht at 317-439-4055.
